HealthForms.io Account Service

The Account Service handles all user authentication, account management, and security for HealthForms.io applications.

What is Account Service?

Account Service is the central authentication system that:

• Manages user accounts and passwords
• Handles login/logout for all HealthForms.io apps (Portal and Manager)
• Provides multi-factor authentication (MFA) for security
• Manages user invitations and permissions
• Stores and protects user credentials

Who Uses Account Service?

• All HealthForms.io Users - Anyone with a HealthForms.io account
• Admins - To manage user accounts and permissions
• Managers - To invite users and manage their team

Quick Start

First Time Users: Sign Up

1. Click "Sign Up" on the login page
2. Enter your email and create a password
3. Check your email for a confirmation link
4. Click the link to verify your email
5. You're ready to log in!

Time: 5 minutes

Existing Users: Log In

1. Go to the login page
2. Enter your email and password
3. If prompted, enter your 2FA code (from authenticator or text message)
4. You're in!

Time: 2-3 minutes

Set Up Security (MFA)

1. Log in to your account
2. Go to Account Settings
3. Enable "Two-Factor Authentication"
4. Choose: Authenticator App (recommended) or Text Message
5. Save backup codes somewhere safe
6. Done! Your account is more secure
